Hey, Thanks soo much for this video. I have an att tilt phone, and i couldn’t figure out how to connect it to my powerbook. I did everything like you said, now my only problem is that it says “bluetooth network failed” when i do the final step to actually access the internet. it also says “failed to open a connection to the network service. your device may have reached its maximum number of supported network connections.” The only other thing i use my bluetooth for is in my car. Do you know what could be causing this, or what I should do?

Hi Kevin, A great video, informative and personable! I tried to extrapolate from your vid. I have an HTC Tytn (Hermes jasJam etc.) with the Rogers providers here in Canada. It is windows mobile 5.0 based and my Mac OS is 10.411 (Tiger). I have tried adding the specific script to my modem scripts for the “HTC Tytn”, and have confirmed settings of the provider and dial out number with my service provider, still can’t get it to work. Any ideas/suggestions? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Dude your video was amazing, i just got my first mac and tethering was a huge concern. I have a tilt and it was slightly different getting it set up but it was more or less exactly what you said. Next you should show us how to do it through USB so we can have full 3G speed because bluetooth seems to slow it down a little. You’re a genious and thanks a lot.

I have a pantech duo and I know it comes with a watered down version of windows mobile, including what looks to be like no internet sharing app. Is there a way to do all of this with the smaller WM6?

i hae a macbook pro, and a motorola Qm running windows. 6.0( i think..it is very new)

i even paid Verizon, 15 to try to link broadband.to my mac.. it just won’t work!!!!

Bernie, if you hit up this site, you can download any YouTube video and save it locally: http://keepvid.com/ You’ll also need a flash player in order to play it back but KeepVid has a link that offers a free one. You should also be able to use VLC to watch it; a quick Google of VLC will get you going. Thanks for the kind words and I’m thrilled that video instructions are useful.

Is there any way to download this video onto my hard drive without accessing it on the net? I just know that when the time comes I will have to access this video from my hard drive to get it to work.

Help with a Sprint HTC Mogul and a Mac Book Pro.

I watched the video, but when I tried following the instructions the plan fell-through when the blue-tooth set-up assistant doesn’t find the phone…any advice on how I can get tethering to work (either with or without wires).
