		<description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;whats funny is in a way Averatec started the &quot;low cost&quot; ultraportable market, relatively speaking. back long before the EEE 700, Averatec released their &quot;1000 series&quot; which consisted of 10.6&quot; laptops that competed directly with Fujitsu &amp; Sony. but while Fujitsu prices started at $1600 &amp; Sony prices started at $2k, Averatec&#039;s prices started at $899. which was an AWESOME deal at the time. Plus you have to consider they used standard ultraportable parts at the time, Pentium-M &amp; 1280 x 768, there was no Atom &amp; 1024 x 600.&lt;/p&gt;]]></description>
