ASUS have finally got around to officially announcing the 901/1000/1000H models, but have frustratingly omitted any pricing details. I’m leaning toward agreeing with brutalturtle; at the cost ASUS are going to have to charge for these things, I’d rather pick up a “proper” laptop.

That’s the million dollar question, figuratively speaking. ;) At some point, it won’t make sense for consumers to buy a “slightly smaller, but noticeably lower performing” machine. We should find out price and availability tomorrow.

how much is this going to cost? Enough, the 1000 Eee PC makes no sense. the 900 made no sense either. Who would pay $550+ for a budget-spec laptop.
