One thing it seems to have fixed is the time between starting the Contacts app and actually using it. It seems to take a little longer to actually display anything but, when it does, you can use it. This being opposed to before where it displayed quickly and then sat there looking all stupid for about 10 seconds.

Don’t kid yourself James, apps still crash even with the update applied. I just think that the phone recovers quicker from the crash then it did before.

Possibly tweaked the memory management which a few tech sites were suggesting was the culprit. Will be updating when I get home tonight.
