it cant be making a &quot;connection&quot;, just sending a few packets. and i&#039;d say no-no for two-way encryption.
my guess is, it listens for a &quot;magic packet&quot;, and transmits a database id # when it gets that magic packet. one-way encryption at best.

of course that means you cant hack it, you can only steal other people&#039;s accounts (d*mn you if you do either!). and pda&#039;s (at least not wince devices) dont have the necessary sniffing equipment.

if you&#039;re curious, grab a laptop with wifi, some data logging software, an E-Z Pass, and drive through the tollbooth. that&#039;s the ticket (pun intented)]]></description>
