Never mind. I had to clear my Firefox cache. Who knew….

I just noticed that Gmail doesn’t seem to have made the adjustment, at least not for my account/server. Any other users that can confirm?

At home was ok but at work did not work to well, we have people complaining with appointment off, we have in our server a little program to sync the time with the atomic clock and for some reason that did not work to well with the DST time change and we ended having to update the time manually in 120 clients.

I don’t have a whole lot of Outlook appointments, which probably helps… but one appointment decided to duplicate itself three hours later, so I have two instances. Weird.

Melissa did notice our TiVo (Series2, Humax DVD burner) time changed a few hours early, but had no real world impact other than a 60 second explanation on my part.

Ben: The way I understand it is that the new ruling allowing them to easily change DST start/end dates at will year to year. Fun stuff! ;)

I had no problems personally, as the Office update tool worked fine for my systems at home, but work had one server running proprietary stuff not convert properly… and since we handle some of our critical scheduling through that server, things got, er, hairy on Sunday.

Horror story, no, but everything on my Outlook calendar is off by an hour. The clocks on all of my PCs are right, but all the appointments are off. Ironically on my client PC Lotus Notes is correct, so for all my bitching about Outlook over LN, now Outlook is wrong and LN is right. I think I’m just going to wait 3 weeks, and they’ll be right again. by next year I’ll be onto a different client and have all new meetings in my calendar. I think I’ll go write a thank you card to my Senator!

Yeah it was a nightmare, trying to patch 16 Exchange servers, 3000 workstations and almost 1000 servers. As if this wasn’t enough MS’s “Calendar Update Tool” only worked some times, when it worked at all.

It didn’t help that MS didn’t have the patches ready in time to do any real testing.

After everyone manually varified all their apointments it is fine, but lets just hope that we NEVER change the start and end date of DST again.
