Android 2.0 is Official — Quick Contacts Look Nice
The activity in the Android space is unrelenting, with each day bringing word of a new phone or some other happening. Today comes word that the next major version of Android, 2.0, is now officially supported in the SDK for developers. The video below covers some nice API additions, including a Quick Contacts feature that looks very useful. This API lets you tap a contact icon and select from every method possible to contact that individual. Developers can include this feature in any program so we’ll likely see some cool uses appear down the road.
