Add photos to your iPod without using a computer
I’m not a big photo-totin’ guy, but if I was, I might be interested in one of these iWay iPod SD Adapters. $70 rids you of using a computer to get your pics from an SD card onto your Video iPod. That’s the only iPod model this works with, so if you have a different iPod, don’t toss that computer out just yet. The whole concept makes sense since you’re fairly likely to have your photos on the SD card from your digital camera. Hey, with a twist, this might be yet another nice concept for a Zune enhancement: transferring photos from a WiFi-enabled camera right to the Zune. Just sayin’….

Apple already had something like this, but I think it’s a USB port to hook your camera on. From what I understand, transfer rates are abysmal and the battery just dies since it’s spinning the disk alot when your offloading pics.
Or you can get a Sansa Connect and view your photos directly from flickr.com using wifi. ;)
This looks useful to a photographer who runs out of space on his SD card and needs a quick way to download them to storage, but otherwise, what’s the point? Most digital cameras have screens comparable in size to an iPod’s (though not as big as the iPhone’s). Why bother transferring photos from one viewer to another?
I think this article is interesting too

I think a gadget like this has had its day. For the price you can get a 16gb SDHC card for your camera. That’s a lot of photos and video.
