Kevin,

I just upgraded ActiveSync from 3.8 to 4.2. But now it's treating my Dell Axim X30 (PPC 2003SE) like a Guest. I'm wondering if there's a way to establish a partnership with it, even if it's an older device?

I think Blue Tooth should be re-named to Rotten Tooth. Syncs with Blue Tooth are still vague and rather a trial to the user.

It works from WM2002 to WM2005. It is however, not recommended for other WM OS user to upgrade unless you're using WM2005.

Nice to see MS documenting the changes. I went ahead and installed and after a cursory look it seems to be working fine with my 6700.

I have been using the beta of activesync 4.2 with an Axim x51v for awhile. Yesterday I decided to dig up my old Compaq H3760 which uses Pocket Pc 2002. I hooked it up to my computer and activesync 4.2 beta worked wonderfully to my surprise.
