Acer Aspire One, 11.6″ for $280 Shipped
I don’t often post about netbook deals as they are appearing all the time. This one is just too good to not pass on so here you go. The large, 11.6-inch Acer Aspire One is only $280 from J&R, and that low price includes shipping. This Aspire One is no slouch as in addition to the bigger netbook screen (1366×768) it has a 1.2 GHz Atom, 1 GB of memory and a 160 GB HDD. I doubt these will last long so if you’re looking for a cheap netbook this certainly qualifies. Available in Ruby Red only.

I picked up the 2GB Vista version for my upcoming road trip, the thing locks up solid (no BSOD) within 2 hours under clean installs of XP, Vista, and Windows 7. Web browsing usually locks it up within minutes. Seems to be a problem across the board with the AO751h line, there’s a big thread on aspireoneuser.com about it.
