I have to tell you….I saw that XV6700 in your article and it spurred off a two day trek of picking my next phone…Which I thought would be the XV6700….but after much research and forum reading I now have my eye set on the Cingular 8525 which is the next version of the XV6700… The phone looks awesome and I can’t wait to get it..

I use Microsoft Streets and Trips with the GPS locator and it works great for me! A 6-month long project I was involved in for work required me to be on the road for a week at a time – driving everywhere – and it saved me lots of time! It is especially convenient on a Tablet, although I can imagine it would be loads better on a touch-screen enabled Tablet PC.

Great story about how mobile technology helps where only a few years ago it would have been a disater. I can think of many times in my past where I have been stranded with my car in the middle of nowhere, back in the 70′s and 80′s when there were no mobile phones. I would many miles in the pouring rain.
I use TomTom on a Dell Axim x50v and a bluetooth GPS unit. I use it both in my PT Cruiser and on my Harley Road King. In june this year TomTom guided me all the way from Zurich in Switzerland to Killarney in Ireland.
As for Mustangs, I have to say I prefer the early models, like a ’67.

Fun story, thanks for sharing. I’ve always avoided TomTom (and Streets and Trips for that matter) because of negative things I’ve heard. Is their mapping program decent now? Count me in the Mustang club, I’ve got a ’99. :D
