FolderShare, not FolderSync, sorry…

James – A quick question about keeping files in sync across devices. If you’re using Karen’s Synchronizer, does that mean you’ve given up on FolderSync? If you are still using FolderSync, have you experienced issues with duplicate files being created as part of the sync process (specifically OneNote files)?

So, This brings to mind the question, of what do you do, as in perhaps a job title?

I have to admint i am quite jealous, you carry around what 10-15 pounds of tech?

for the mobile CAD station, i think it’s gotten to somewhere around 40 pounds.

It seems that you prefer One Note to the alternatives (Evernote) when it comes to combined ink/typed/multimedia notes. Is there any particular reason?

As for the Advantage, understand that choice as I had one for awhile too…but that’s why I put in my request “ie, laptop, tablet, etc” to cue you that what I meant was what device you’d want as your main ‘daily driver’….

Don’t know, but it rarely accesses the disk unless I’m doing something on it. Of course, it’s new and I’m ALWAYS doing something on it. :)

I get asked this question a lot and I never answer it but here’s a qualified answer. I could not drop down to just one device. If I had to go down to two it would currently be the HP 2710p and the HTC Advantage.

My work requires note-taking and thus the 2710p as it is a decent notebook on top of the tablet bits. The Advantage because it’s so full-functioned and my ebook reader of choice.

If my work ever changes and finds me not needing the note-taking then I would drop the tablet and go with a small MacBook of some sort. I’d still use the Advantage in that scenario.

Out of your stable of toys, I mean tools (ie, laptop, tablet, etc), which one would you keep if you had to get rid of all except for one???

Ken, I only carry a second battery for one single device at a time which is much smaller and lighter than an external power station like the BatteryGeek (2 lbs.).

I had seen a post from you a while back regarding the Kindle. Was that just a review unit? I purchased a Kindle a few weeks back, and absolutely love it. I admit that I have not used the Advantage, for ebooks so I can’t compare the two. Many of the books I have read on the Kindle, I downloaded for free as they are classics.
