It’s grown up quite a bit since a year ago. I installed it on a Dreamhost account and it runs fine. No MySQL DB needed, either.

I set up a user account for a friend and he’s liking it OK, except we aren’t able to get any IRC clients from eyeos-apps.org working.

It’s pretty slick that the system uses a linux-style package manager for applications. I run linux systems here in my web business, so it was nice to see that.

Looks like somebody made a USB-stick version available that boots any computer up right into EyeOS.
