Great on 22″ monitor but it does not work on my 12″ Mac screen!
I am using a “zero-inbox-strategie” together with GTD Inbox for Google Mail.
So multible Inboxes for zero Emails isn’t that usefull :p
@mb Yes, on smaller screens it’s not so good, unless you put the inboxes under the main inbox, which kind of spoils the point.
@Karsten I guess calling them “Inboxes” is a bit of a misnomer, really. They’re just additional, configurable panes to look at your email archive. Take a look at Judi’s post today for some interesting uses for it.
@Simon, but for those of us who maintain “inbox zero” having the extra panes underneath works just fine.
@Karen, I thought so at first too, but if you look at my post you’ll see the extra views can be helpful even when there’s nothing in the main inbox.
I’ve been using the Quick Links labs feature to make these sorts of views and I just switch between them.
Judi’s post helps me think about how it could be useful to have them always visible, but I haven’t quite come up with it yet.

Let’s face it, email is a productivity killer. Email generates a ridiculous amount of work. And, information you get in the email, never stays there. It multiplies and proliferates to contact managers, calendars, Excel spreadsheets, CRM, calendars, to-do lists, countless web apps, even post. That’s the core problem of email, and multiple inboxes is a frantic, but futile attempt to bring it all under control.
Oops :) I meant to say “Post-It notes” :)
