I'm happy to see the endorsement for FreeConference. We serve thousands of SMB's, non-profits, and other organizations who value our free service. They save hundreds of dollars each month by using us. Most businesses have flat rate long distance plans which make using our service virtually free. Lots of people also use their cell phone minutes, especially after hours when they have free minutes. You can conference up to 150 people for 6 hours on each call. FreeConference also has free desktop sharing, enabling you to show powerpoint presentations, spreadsheets, surf the web, or share photos all during your audio conference. You can use the online scheduling tools or just use our reservationless on-demand dial-in numbers.
Oh, and if you ever do want to spring for an Premium 800 number, we have those too, which also includes unlimited desktop sharing and free recording.

We are also now launching an Outlook add-in which will let users easily schedule conferences right from Outlook with all your conference numbers embedded right into the meeting details.

Thanks for your support. If you have any questions contact <a href="http://www.freeconference.com/supportstart.aspx" rel="nofollow">Customer Support</a>

As for the Conference Calls, those are good solutions if everyone does not mind paying the long distance charges, unless you are local where these companies are based. But for better attendance to a Conference call, and as a courte4sy to the people who you are asking to connect with you, it is common in business for the moderator to pay for the call.

My company Great America Networks Conferencing offers toll-free service at the lowest rate available with no catches or tricks or minimums. Anyone contacting me from Web Worker Daily will get toll-free access for 5 cents per minute/connection. Lower than our advertised rate on our website at http://www.ganconference.com.

If you don't mind the long distance charges, or their limitations (which aren't many for a small time operation), then the companies mentioned in the article are all very reputable companies.
