Hotel speeds are brutal for the most part in the USA, but not bad at all in the UK and Europe.

Other issues..Not enough power outlets in a hotel room, or none near the bed that you can easily access.

Only in the last year have I run into the neutered networks issues 100 kb/s wired & 160 -320 kb/s wifi …

Also simply no internet connection at all … Hotels advertise wifi but just not there . The wifi shows up but no connection behind it frustrating bit is staff normally has no clue …

I have only bumped into this in the states & mostly in higher end accommodation …

Tends to be the first thing I ask about when booking hotels for photo shoots …. With out a confirmed decent speed test I don’t book a hotel any more ..
