When I sent out an important email, before hitting send I set the MailTags keyword to @Waiting. Then I have a Smart Mailbox which lists all of those @Waiting tagged messages.

Better yet, I have a “Waiting Long” Smart Mailbox which looks for messages with @Waiting and if the date is more than a week ago. I check that mailbox daily to make sure items aren’t getting stale.

I’ve been using these for the past six months and it’s been the most productive I’ve ever been with email.

If you’re using Outlook in Win, you can mimic some of this “automation” via Saved Search Folders, customizing the Catagories, and customizing the Color-coded Flags.
