I like how it’s lightweight, but seems too silo’ed through having to assign tasks to a particular day instead of “things that need doing by” or “things you need to do tomorrow”.

See my recent blog post on task management for more info of how I now record and manage my tasks and time. If there was an online tool that was based on this concept then that’d be more useful. I’ll check out some of these other ones you’ve linked to, thanks.

I added tasks but they never appeared.

I use Toodledo.com because it is the only one that has the feature of keeping items on your list until you mark them as done. If I put something down to be done on Monday, most other services will have that item disappear on Tuesday regardless of whether I actually did it or not. That doesn’t help me. If I didn’t do it I want to be reminded on Tuesday and Wednesday and every day until I mark it as done or reschedule it. Otherwise it’s too easy to forget items.

It’s my favorite. The drag & drop to make a clickable link or image is amazing. Add to that the cataloging features, PLUS now I can synch on 2 computers!
