I have applied for skilled corporate jobs with Best Buy over the last year and they have called me twice for initial interviews. One of the first questions they ask is if I will relocate. When I tell them I’ve read about their ROWE program and wish to work for them remotely, they are immediately no longer interested in talking with me further. So I guess you still have to live locally even if you don’t have to work in the office.
