Hello,

I am a private investor and have a mix of commerical and residential notes I am trying to find buyers for.

I came across a site called Promissory.us.

Anyone here ever use them?

Are there any services out there that will sell/broker your notes for a flat fee or low commission
similar to http://www.promissory.us?

Any help or suggestions would be great.

I use Scrybe (beta) online/offline (it has offline sync using the browser) and print out the little booklet pages it produces, as well as a Filofax. For the latter the old Lotus Organizer program can print the pages, which I then cut to size and, using a Filofax hole punch, use in the binder. Could not work without the Filofax, that’s for sure. Never again do I want to use a PDA or Pocket PC.

I’m more than a bit biased, but I use Jotlet Calendar.

It’s really simple and sends reminders straight to my cell phone.

I use Google Calendar (and Remote Calendars to get my office’s Outlook on to GCal) and then print it to carry in my hPDA. I think it is the best blend of online and paper calendaring.

I use Moleskine weekly planner notebook. It has lots of space for each day of each week. Plus an empty page per week for notes, jotting and sketching. Tried Google and Yahoo! calendars but — at least for me — they were too much of a hassle.

Downside is that the planner’s quite big (13 x 21 cm / 5 x 8 ¼”, there is a smaller variant available, though) and doesn’t travel well without a briefcase or a bag.

I’m compensating this with Nokia e61 calendar, which I keep as synced with my Moleskine as I see necessary. I also carry on me a smaller and thinner pocket sized Moleskine notebook with a Hipster ToDo List and a pen clipped to it.

Strictly a Treo (palm OS) calender user. Never sync with my computer. My phone (treo) is always on me and I prefer it quietly vibrating to notify me of something upcoming than having my computer interrupt whatever I’m currently working on especially if I’m in the middle of editing.

I’ve integrated Google Calendar and Apple iCal together with Spanning Sync. Works like a charm and allows me to share calendars with my girlfriend and work colleagues no matter what platform they’re using. Changes I make offline on iCal are automatically synced the next time I’m online.
