I was filled with anticipation and excitement as I downloaded the Microsoft Office 2010 beta…and then I wasn’t. I feel like it’s reverted back a few years. The scheme is ghastly and the bulky tabs are no longer innovative and intuitive…they are just plain clumsy. In Word, I didn’t mind the automatic print preview, but other than that I was eager to hop back on my Office 2007. Overall thumbs down. I hope there are some serious changes before Office 2010 hits stands.

I had to uninstall the 2010 office Beta since Outlook & word was not even opening in Windows 7 ultimate.
Fix it & then upload it to all MIcrosoft!
What a waist!

I started using it last night. So far I like it. I wish the tabs were in the title bar. I hate that much wasted screen space. I like the outlook conversation threads a lot.
