I can’t say Web Designer because I program too. I can’t say Web Programmer because I design. Do Creative Directors configure Apache in FreeBSD? I don’t think so. And I just lay carpeting on our office stairs.

I’m getting used to the awkward silences.

What I “do” won’t fit on a business card sufficiently. So now I just say I’m a small business owner and go from there. It’s rare that people ask me though… I find that being a woman, I don’t get asked that question very often. It’s usually, “What does your husband do?” or “Do you have any kids?” Or more often than not, “where did you get those shoes?” *_* So much for the 21st century!

All other activites the I’ll be layering on top of the content I produce — podcasting, screencasting, affiliate marketing — are technicalities, not the fundamental value I bring to my audience.
