For me, it is more calm and easy to start my day with a clear and uncluttered desktop. At home, again my desktop are uncluttered only to contra with a big slap cheesy landscape potrait of myself taken during a day trip, depicting my joyous time spent with friends. It keep me smiling :)

I also have some books/software & tech boxes/misc other stuff stuff sitting on top of my desk – it shows off my the technology I have.
And finally, I have various stickers behind the smoky-glass doors on my desk. They look pretty cool. :-D
