Dimdim Rolls Out Small Business Edition
Dimdim — a provider of well-designed web conferencing tools that we’ve covered previously — yesterday rolled out DimDim Business, an edition of its software designed for small and medium-sized businesses. It provides a web conferencing solution that’s scalable to thousands of participants.
Dimdim Business also enables customization of the entire web conferencing platform, including its meeting rooms, company URLs and email templates. This feature — and it’s one that’s not available in many of Dimdim’s competitors, such as WebEx and GoToMeeting — will allow businesses to individually brand meetings with their logo, company name and web pages to bring their own “look and feel.” Businesses can also embed Dimdim Business inside their site using open APIs.
Dimdim Business costs $33 per user per month.
Let us know which web conferencing solution you use in the comments.

I’ve tried the premium version of Dimdim and things kept freezing up on my mac. kinda embarassing when you’re in the middle of a business presentation and the tech tanks.
ill take a look and if it looks like theres a new version it may be worth trying again but id definitely recommend a test run or 2 before running a cashflow dependent business demo on it.
Simon, thanks for this great article. We’re excited to make enterprise-class web conferencing able to more companies (small and large.)
Bryan, I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing issues. We’re constantly working to stay ahead of the Apple vs. Adobe Flash challenges, though many of the recent releases from each company have kept our engineering team busy. There are ways to minimize the impact as a meeting host and our upcoming release moves further along to address the overall issues. Feel free to contact me directly, I can help you navigate some of the challenges.
Thanks!

I used your trial version for a very short while and then uninstalled it as it was intrusive. Too in your face – upgrade to pro. Secondly it caused my computer to crash twice so I bombed it. I am really looking for an alternative to gotomeeting. Their base product is great but caters for 15 people only. If for that kind of price I can do up to a 1000 peole and the product is stable, I’m in. I didn’t even have the chance to try the fancy stuff and am weary to install it again because of my last experience.
