The move is strategically well timed. DA is now becoming PM + Yammer – i think that will happen soon. It will enable teams to create micro conversations and collaborate in a more efficient fashion. Often i have heard critics of DeskAway say that its plain Jane and that its a Basecamp copy. I think all of that will die down now. If you’ve been using DeskAway, then this is just a small step in the large number of improvements they have made since May. I’d recommend the service to anyone who wants to manage their projects and also ensure that those very projects are being spearheaded into a new wave of productivity by efficient leadership at the helm of the tool.
