I understand why these things are thought to be good, but xobni is a system drag, argh! Getting email sorted is painful (and I mean the sorting the messages and dealing with attachments), but there is a nice way to send large file attachments. It's not finished yet, but the concept is good: 2Large2Email

@Jesse: ClearContext Personal will remain totally free with full functionality after general release. The ClearContext Professional product with additional workflow and project capabilities is a paid product. We’ll also have a number of ways for personal users to get a free upgrade to the Pro version.

@Dave – Thanks for the comments and the invites for WWD readers. Your product adds a lot of functionality to an already busy Outlook interface so a bit of a walk-through might be useful.

@Jesse – They are advertising it as a Free add-in so I imagine the basic version will continue to be no charge with the pro version as an upgrade path.

Will personal remain free after the beta period? I’d hate to get hooked on something I’d have to stop using for economic reasons.

Thanks for the detailed review, we really appreciate it. We’ve added the invite code “wwd” for priority access to the beta for your readers. Outlook 2007 invites are being sent out right now and OL 2003 invites are coming very soon.

Your comments regarding the initial setup and user experience are something we’re working on during the initial beta. The views and a couple of other features are not totally intuitive for everyone, so we’ll work on giving a little more guidance during the setup process to make sure everything is simple and clear.
