I use MailMe. Great little app! Just text notes though, but that's what I want. It shows the text field immediately when I start the app, and when I'm done typing I just hit send and the note appears in my inbox. :-)

I have both EverNote (EN) and Idea Organizer (IO) and I can say from my experience using both that IO is far superior in what it sets out to do. Previous poster's comments that EN can do everything Idea Organizer is misleading. One example, there is no way to attach multiple photos and multiple voice memos to a note in EN. If you start out with a voice note in EN, you are stuck with that - you can add text to it and that's about it. There is no way to attach more voice or photos to it. Idea Organizer is nice in that it lets you record your note how you want it but doesn't tie you to it, and you can end up at the same place regardless of how you first recorded your idea, as the reviewer suggested. Its full-text search feature is more superior and instantaneous than EN's. It's also way more stable than EN. IO's email feature is also integrated with your Contacts, while EN's is not. I can go on and on. Is IO perfect? Of course not. As the previous poster put it, a sync feature would be nice. Aside from that, I would also like passcode protection, geotagging and folders. Even at its current state, I am finding IO to be indispensable and far superior than most note-taking apps out there in terms of form and function.

There nothing this app does that Evernote couldn't do, for free! with the addition of having the option to sync notes across platforms, web clipping, etc. I one wants to spare or donate $2.00 to the developers, that's OK, but there's way better alternatives to ideas capture for mobile devices. In an era of 100,000 + apps simplicity might be wise to keep in mind, is that an idea?
