There are a couple of notifiers out there, though many are browser plugins that require an open browser. I&#039;ve written one to sit in the Notification area / systray and notify you of incoming messages:

		<description><![CDATA[Hey... just thought I&#039;d make a point... you mention using attachments in your wave and version control being an issue... use the iframe gadget and insert your document from a web-based editor such as google docs and voila, you can use the wave for communication and discussion and edit the document as well without switching out of the browser and keeping control of the current version.]]></description>
