&lt;p&gt;GR Cooling doesn&#039;t need specialized heat sinks.  Just replaces the thermal grease with a thermal material that doesn&#039;t dissolve.  Costs about $2 bucks and takes seconds.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;So, our company has 3 mods: no server fans or optical drives, thermal grease, and hard drive protection.  KVM and USB ports are still accessible.&lt;/p&gt;
