In an older solar manufacturing process Evergreen Solar used one employee to cut off a block of a solar wafer and carry it to another part of the production process. (The solar execs in the room chuckled when Chleboski showed a video of an employee awkwardly carrying the bulky wafer to the next step.) That picker bot is basically a rip off of the ABB one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxsgu_uzxQQ).

It will be interesting to see if they can pull this off. For one the robots run off 480v and suck down some mad wattage, especially any of them that lift anything heavy like ones used in a body shop.
