I think its all just a matter of time. As more an more things go online, information security will play a bigger and bigger role. The bad guys will always be out there.

So does this mean that some 'ethical hacker' could take advantage of these weaknesses in the data protection software of these sites, and remotely turn off our environmentally unfriendly appliances? This is almost surreal if true.
