It's inevitable for the transit industry to make these movements early in the game, as the returns would be much higher. The oil industry is gonna be taking a pretty big hit as these buses drink up tons of their fuels.

Companies like Tesla Motors are pioneering electric vehicles, and as more of the big-boy auto makers die out, the new kids on the block will prevail.
