Just a note that the meter shown is NOT an Itron smart meter. All Itron AMI meters thus far are constructed on the Centron platform. The meter that you show is an Itron Sentinel. The Sentinel is a polyphase device marketed towards higher-end apps. While it’s ‘smart’ in it’s own right, it’s not ‘SmartGrid’ ready.
