Smart Grid Stimulus Funds: Close to 50 Firms and Rising
Last week we started a cheat sheet on all of the companies that we’ve heard have applied or are working on applications for some of the $3.4 billion in DOE stimulus funding for the smart grid. These are companies that have told us directly, sent out press releases or been reported by other media to be seeking some of the smart grid stimulus funds. What does NA mean against some of the companies in the above list?
Thank you for all informations !
http://allainjulesblog.blogspot.com/
I suspect the location is inaccurate (at least for some). While National Grid is based in the UK, they supply electricity and gas to customers in the Northeast and that is where the stimulus $$$ will go…
@LibranLover, NA, means not available, so basically I didn’t have that information. @Randy, the location column is where the utility’s headquarters are, not the specification location of the smart grid project. If there’s any inaccuracies, let me know and I can fix them — it’s a work in progress. I’ve updated it over 10 times in the last week with additional info.
The listing for Lincoln Electric System is Lincoln, NE, not Eureka, MT
List not accurate.
Wisc. Power and Light is a sub of Alliant — they asked for $10 million — def not $210. I noticed 5 or 6 other errors.
Ester, take another look at the $210 for Wisc., the 2 was crossed out last week and it reads $10. I kept the cross out in there to show it had been updated. If its too difficult to read I’ll fix it.
Thanks J Loos, I’ll change that one.
