In “concentrating PV technologies the conversion efficiencies are not much higher than those of regular crystalline-silicon PV systems”

How could it be any higher???.. conversion efficiency is a factor of the PV cells.. What they ARE doing is increasing the PV cell output by a factor of 10x by concentrating more sun light into them.

Parabloic reflectors can increase PV output up to 1000x if enough cell cooling is used. http://www.solarsystems.com.au/ but they still have the same ‘conversion efficiencies’

Just another example of a naysayer analyst proving how clueless they are.
