This is a great article about how Microsoft is doing. The problem with consumers is that they won't practice home energy management unless it's easy. So far I have not seen anyone crack that nut!

It sounds like a great idea in theory but will they really deliver. I think that may be the reason they are letting third parties develop on it first, becasue they are still weary about it. electric furnace prices if they were truly committed then they would develop on that technology first since it would make them the most money to be the first one out of the gate.

I think, This initiative from Microsoft would really help us in saving the energy with the help of Holm. Since Energy management is a growing concern in todays world and there are very less methods to save energy. Is Microsoft doing something related to Solar energy? do agree @ Adam
