The guy from current makes a very good point about the sensibility of tackling the industrial & commercial markets first – lower cost roll out with much larger impact. According to FERC (2006) there are approx 18mil C&I customers who consume about 63% of US electric production versus 120mil residential customers who consume about 37% of our electric production – what do you think will have a greater impact $40bil on residential or $40bil for C&I???
just a reflection of the hot air coming out of America’s politicians who have jumped on a band wagon and portend to know it all… CHANGE!
