It is almost entirely marketing spin, designed to grease the wheels for many more coal-fired power stations to be built (at the expense, of course, of intelligent alternatives to fossil fuels).

It would be nice to see a more critical analysis of GE’s initiatives, separating the short-term opportunistic spin from truly progressive thinking.
