Steorn is not for real... Nothing like trying to talk over our heads to try to convince us that they have a simple solution to perpetual motion that also creates energy even after taking into account "all of the drag from friction from the spinning top and the friction of the current through the wires".
Notice that when he reverses the polarity of the wires going into the motor, the motor spinns backwards... that's not interesting at all. Take any motor from radio shack and flip the polarity of the battery.

On that note: EEStor is deffinately a scam - there is no known material that can prevent electrons from transfering across it in the form of a thin film... slow them down yes, stop them.. no.

GM execs tend to never say bad things about competition in the public. They are very polite. In reality, I'm sure Tony thinks nothing of EESTOR and just said nice things that mean nothing.

I used to have high hopes for EEStor. Now, though, after missing release date after release date, I've come to the conclusion that they're either misleading everyone, or they simply don't know what they're doing. The dates move like the slipperiest of snakes; the latest was "end of 2009", and I hate to tell ya, there's not a lot of wiggle room left there. :(
