The Democratic leadership is getting pushed around by indecision and auto industry backers and it will take the public to rationalize Congress. It is the actions of Americans that will allow Congress the extra time to make the right decisions and pass the Energy Bill. Thank you Gene for including that information. Democracy in action! We'll keep you posted this week as things develop. If the Democrats are serious about getting this passed by Friday there will likely be some interesting wheel-and-dealing this coming week. We'll see what's left of the Energy Bill by the end.

I encourage anyone who takes this seriously to contact your Congressperson and/or Senators. It’s easy to complain about this without taking any real action. All you need to do is write/email/call your governmental representatives.
