Technology like solar energy, wind power, fuel cells, zaps electric vehicles, EV hybrids, etc have come so far recently. Green energy even costs way less than oil and gas in many cases.

How about plug-in hybrids, renewable energy sources, and a smart grid all working together to get transportation off of oil, and out of the realm of emitting carbon? That’s a start. Then use nuclear power plant to displace the coal used to make our electricity.
