We're thrilled to announce Hulu CEO Jason Kilar as keynote speaker at this year's NewTeeVee Live, where he will lead our discussion on the future of online video and the business models that will enable it to thrive.

Since being founded just three years ago, Hulu has quickly established itself as the go-to spot for broadcast video content on the web. The company took in more than $100 million in revenue last year and should double that this year, based on its ability to monetize video better than anyone else on the web and the recent introduction of its subscription service, Hulu Plus.

Not just that, but Hulu Plus is quickly becoming a true multi-platform player, with the service becoming available on the Sony PlayStation3, Microsoft Xbox 360, iPhone, iPad, TVs and Blu-ray players from Samsung, Sony and Vizio, as well as TiVo DVRs and Roku set-top boxes.

With all that in mind, we’re thrilled to announce that Hulu CEO Jason Kilar will be discussing all of this and more at this year’s NewTeeVee Live, Nov. 10 in San Francisco. Kilar first spoke at NewTeeVee Live back in 2008, but as this year’s keynote speaker, he’ll lead our discussion on the future of online video and the business models that will enable it to thrive.

He isn’t the only heavy-hitter in these year’s program. Other confirmed speakers include:

Kevin Lynch, CTO of Adobe

Hunter Walk, Director of Product Management at YouTube

Rio Caraeff, President and CEO of Vevo

Oren Jacob, Executive Producer of Ready, Set, Bag!, Ensemble Pictures

Rishi Chandra, Senior Product Manager at Google TV

Olivier Manuel, Director of Content for Samsung Electronics America

Bryan Perez, SVP and GM of NBA Digital

Hardie Tankersley, VP of Innovation at Fox Broadcasting Company

Bram Cohen, Chief Scientist and Co-founder of BitTorrent

Topics of interest covered at NewTeeVee Live 2010 include:

Cutting the cord. With the rise of ubiquitous broadband and the availability of popular shows through online portals, cable “unsubscribers” are the new trend.

Touch TV. What impact will the iPad and similar devices have on viewing habits? Will new devices and audiences herald a new wave of content formats and innovation?

Google TV. Can Google succeed where Microsoft and others have failed? Will Google’s strengths in search and its YouTube service allow it to create a killer product proposition?

Multiplatform Storytelling. People are now watching shows on their TVs, netbooks, laptops, set-top boxes and tablets. How is this endpoint proliferation transforming both mainstream television and web-only content?

Today’s computer mouse has replaced yesterday’s TV remote, and the lap or the hand has become the TV stand.
