Forty Eight hours after getting Treo-enabled, I am suffering from a new kind of disease. It is called, Treodiction.

(def)The highly addictive quality of this device results in an ailment called treodiction. Those who suffer from this malady gush publicly about the device, constantly peer down into its tiny screen, check emails constantly, post to their moblogs, instant message, and also occassionally make voice calls (how quaint). the intense thumb activity happens in a bus, train, or while at a company meeting. Of course this addiction will become too much, resulting in a clean-up program, called TreoX.

Maybe we will start out TA group, and no I do not mean that!

Be sure to check out Chatter from (link) . They’ve got a nice IMAP/instant messaging client that lets you get instantly notified whenever you get a new email in your email server. Also, grab Minutes Plus, an app that tracks your phone minutes and subtracts them from your tally (taking into account free minutes, nights/weekends, etc). Minutes Plus is free at htttp://home.triad.rr.com/rlwhitt/palm. Enjoy and Gush.

Of course, grab SnapperMail if you don’t already have it. It’s the best email client for the Treo.
