I will be taking a:

1. SCREAMING BABY on the plane. I don’t have my own, so I will need to rent one.

The baby will unfortunately fall victim to a fatal SNAKE ATTACK mid flight.

2. BOOZE! This is for Buzz Andersens annual WWDC party. Its gonna rock your face off (so pack an extra one!)

3. Fake limbs and/or fake butt! No party is complete without some extra limbs on hand

4. Etymotic ER-45 headphones (see #1)

Adam,

For the two previous years I’ve gone, everybody at the conference uses has one with them and uses it during the conference. Pretty much all the time, to the point that the wireless network frequently gets overloaded (especially in the sessions.) They code, check their email, IM, take notes on what’s being said, etc. Fortunately, the Moscone has plenty of places to plug in for power, and also places to plug in to an ethernet network in the common areas.

I’m thinking my Sidekick 3 and Canon camera and a MacBook Pro. Do you actually find yourself using your laptop during the conference or mostly in your hotel?

Wish I could go, but unfortunately I can´t. However, if I should go I definitely would bring my new Nintendo DS Lite… perfect complement for the iPod. Nothing like playing a quick race with Super Mario Kart when you´re waiting in line…
