My son has been saying this recently and I couldn’t remember what kid movie this was from. Thanks for finally solving this for us. Not even my kids could remember what movie this came from. We will watch Toy Story 1 and Nemo again.

Hi, my name is Brian and I’m a “wait for it, wait for it—aholic” I can’t find it. Have been looking at numerous clips of movies for a couple of weeks and I haven’t found the one that I’m thinking of. Can’t believe how many posts there are and none of them are the one. Please help, it’s driving me, my wife, my sister nuts, and soon will infect my friends. If you find it, please list title and time in movie(assuming it’s a movie) so it’s easy to find. Thanks for any help.

my two year old just dropped this line with perfect comedic timing while out to dinner…we have all been trying to figure out where she picked it up and after reading this amazing blog we all agree that she got it from Finding Nemo as they are about to ride the EAC and from Toy Story involving the evil neighbor kid…we also all agree that Sandler said it in Big Daddy in the roller blading scene…

Another source its from is Katt Williams Pimp Chronicles (i think lol). Its the Tiger Skit he does in it tho. He making fun of the tigers who had the little boy fall in their living area. “Wait for it…Wait for it….Pounce it!!”.. in the skit he actually jumps on the stool and hurts his elbow…hilarious…welp there’s my two cents!! lol

Funny! I just decided to google “wait for it, wait for it” because this is a line that my family and I have been trying to figure it out for so long. This was where it got me. It has been quite the topic of convo on here since 2006, it seems. We first saw it in cartoons, then a couple of movies and then heard it last night on HGTV. So where did this originate? The world may never know…..

I figured it out! It’s from a White Sox radio commercial where Ozzie Guillen is being interviewed and is spitting sunflower seeds. He spits one trying to hit a sign and the guy says ” you missed” and just then Ozzie says ” Wait for it,wait for it” and then you hear the seed ricochet off the sign.If this is the quote any of you were looking for please reply as it feels good to know that I’ve saved someone from the brink of insanity!
