Why the developer is being so stubborn about groups is beyond me, but until groups is in Tweetie, I’m afraid it won’t suit most Twitter power-users. There are also a host of small bugs and quirky behavior – but I’m sure those will be fixed over time.

Great looking app, but lacks too much. I’m sticking with EventBox.

I use Eventbox currently, but as John mentioned it is a bit bulky and I don’t like it nearly as much now as when it first surfaced. I also have used Bluebird and Twitterific and have not been happy with either one of them. I love Tweeite on the iPhone and the desktop version is looking beautiful from the teaser video. My only gripe without actually trying the app is the icon. Don’t really care for it much :-/

I use Twitterrific right now but don’t really like it all that much. The way it operates bugs me a bit. I’ve tried EventBox, but it’s a bit balky. And I’d tried Nambu, but it’s flat-out broken. I haven’t been able to get it to connect in over a week, while Twitterrific works just fine. Seems a rather elementary issue.

I have started using Tweetie on my iPhone and it is hands down the best twitter client that I have used on the iPhone.
