Depuis le retour à la barre du mythique fondateur Steve Jobs, l’entreprise engrange les succès, initié par l’iMac en 1998. Malgré un doublement de sa part de marché en 5 ans, Apple atteint péniblement les 4% au niveau mondial des PC (hé oui ! des PC…). Ce petit chiffre est néanmoins à relativiser. Premièrement, le C.A. d’Apple, sa capitalisation boursière, sa marge brute sont excellente. Au niveau économique Apple, malgré “sa petite PDM”, se hisse au plus haut niveau des entreprises du domaine. Not only did it make the company profitable and result in record Mac sales, the iMac proved Apple still had the magic. Without the iMac, I don’t think Apple would have made it to the iPod.

Most of which was a result of him cutting projects.

That isn’t the miracle turn around that everyone talks about.

It wasn’t until the iPod became a success in 2005 that there is any major upturn in their annual results.
