This works wonders on both PPC & Intel based macs. The license is sensible, it allows you to use one copy on all YOUR macs (not your buddy's). I came to two realizations, first off the fact that this app is security paranoid is a pain in the a**. You end up typing in the admin password over and over and over... But, it's a one time deal, they're aware of the unpleasantness, and they are mulling fixes that preserve security while not being inconvenient. The other realization is that most Intel based Macs have pretty big disks so regaining a couple of gig isn't that big of a deal. On the other hand my PowerBook got a new lease on life, 2 gig on a 40 gig drive IS a big deal. Yay!

Based on the PowerBook alone, to me, Xslimmer is definitely in the top tier of Indie software.
