		<description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;The whole thing is a big to do about nothing. Apple&#039;s biggest market has been and still is here in the U.S. It will be fairly easy for them to shut down violators of the EULA in the states with a little bit of legal muscle. But different countries have different copyright laws, and whether you agree with them or not, that&#039;s the way things are.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I don&#039;t want to see Apple in the position it was back in the bad old days, but realistically Apple had to see this coming. Remember the Mac clones of the 90s?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&#039;d like for Apple to be able to keep using the same old marketing strategy successfully. But this is a different world, people &lt;em&gt;want&lt;/em&gt; to run Mac OS X. And they want to run it on a commodity box that doesn&#039;t cost an arm and a leg. If they introduce some kind of DRM they will only be hurting customers who buy Apple branded hardware and expect the same ease of use. There has to be some kind of middle ground or trade off.&lt;/p&gt;
