I agree with reviewer about the web site. While pzizz is great the web site makes it seem like some hippie thing. I found pzizz some time ago but I was reluctant to try it because of the new-age/hippie feel. But when I heard Merlin Mann talk about it on MacBreak Weekly I tried it and loved it. I just bought it like a week ago although 50 seemed like a high price It’s definitely worth it.

@ Romain Guy – thanks for the great review! I’m really pleased that pzizz was able to help you see past the elements of the site that you didn’t like. It’s tricky trying to find a way to explain pzizz perfectly for everyone – half our customers want in-depth, detailed technical details – and others just want to get on and use it! We’ll keep working on it!

@ DR – thanks for your suggestions – we’re in the middle of updating the site and trying to simplify the offering as you pointed out… I hope the home page is better today?

I use Pzizz to take 15 minute afternoon naps everyday and I really think that it makes a difference. I believe the stress benefits are tangible, because my nap time is a space I can enjoy where I don’t think about anything and relax deeply.

I also am a big fan of Pzizz, which I discovered after reading 43folders.com.

I’m convinced that their sales would be higher if they simplified the sales pitch (something like, “from zero to relax in two clicks”), uncluttered their homepage and de-emphasized the scientific mumbo-jumbo.

It also seems pointless to sell a stand-alone nap generator player when so many people have personal MP3 players. Why not charge $25 for a version without export capability, and $35-40 for a version that does allow exporting? The sleep module is fantastic, BTW.

Pzizz may sound like an oddball kind of gadget or gimick but the experience is really quite remarkable. I definitely recommend that people at least download the demo if only to try it out – it was much different and much more effective than I would have guessed.

Good review. I am a pzizzer myself. I use it every day, its great. Just FYI they are coming out with v 2.0 really soon. I believe it may even be as soon as Thursday. It will be something to be on the watch for.
